【再現監禁與離散: 從殖民監獄與上海隔都談困難襲產在東亞】
〖Incarceration, Displacement, and Diaspora: On Difficult Heritage in East Asia through Cases of Colonial Prisons and Shanghai Ghetto〗
相較於歐美，困難襲產在東亞顯得特別困難，因其過去與未來仍緊密鑲嵌於區域地緣政治中而猶為敏感，動輒得咎。講者將以近年研究日本前殖民地監獄建築保存及再利用，案例跨越旅順、首爾及臺灣，以及上海前公共租界提籃橋監獄周邊里弄如何重整其猶太難民遺產，來檢視後殖民社會如何面對困難歷史遺緒，多方行動者如何以歷史資產(或債務)來策略性索求或發展外交友誼，而選擇性地再現監禁與離散、深化懲罰的都市空間表現。同時，外來者留下的困難地方往往疊上了晚近都市化過程紋理，時有大量居民在襲產化過程中成為尷尬存在，甚或，如提籃橋地區居民多年居於舊建築中想望不可及的動遷，形同另類監禁。

黃舒楣，美國華盛頓大學建成環境學院博士，現任國立臺灣大學建築與城鄉研究所助理教授。研究領域為城鄉環境規劃設計、依存地景、東亞城市再生比較研究、後殖民文化資產保存與記憶研究、原住民社區災後動遷與重建等。著有《Carescapes of Hong Kong: Two System, One City》(2015）及《Heritage, Memory, and Punishment: Remembering Colonial Prisons in East Asia》 (與Hyun-Kyung Lee 合著，即將出版)等。
